Hello families! We had a wonderful week full of learning, creativity, and excitement! On Monday, we began our day with partner reading at the carpet. The kids are getting more confident and engaged during independent and partner reading time. We also focused on the letter Xx. We practiced identifying words that begin or end with X, and explored how this letter is a bit tricky since it's not as common! In gym, we had an exciting scooter day. The kids learned how to ride safely, navigate space, and had so much fun zooming around the gym! We also had a picnic today by the trees before spending some time outside with bubbles and playing on the playground. On Wednesday, we explored the number 5 in math. Each student created a building or part of a community using paper and crayons—some made schools, hospitals, houses, fire stations, and even libraries. Then, we added ourselves to the display because we are all part of t...
